Heron Designs is created by British Illustration and Pattern Designer Emma Wilkinson, who's work is primarily hand-drawn illustration and mixed media.

Emma graduated from The London College of Fashion in 2001 with a BA Honours in Fashion Communication and went onto enjoy a further 10 years experience working in the beauty, fashion and retail marketing industry.

​

Although Emma enjoyed working on creative brand and marketing ideas, there was always a burning desire to go back to her own artists roots in textiles, art and design. 

​

Now a graduate of the highly regarded Make It In Design course Modules 1,2 and 3, Emma is a qualified Illustration and Pattern Designer.

Heron Designs is a showcase of Emma's current work and ideas; creating patterns for interiors (wall art/textiles/kitchenwares), fashion, stationary, gift wrap, cards and bespoke commissioned pieces.
